Friedrichstadt - Palast
Opened in 1984 the revue theater is the most prominent example of DDR postmodernism and one of the highlights of the prefabricated architecture. The Great Hall is equipped with 1,900 amphitheater landscaped squares and has with 2854 square meters of recordable total the largest theater stage in the world. Over a lifting platform can on the front stage a pool installed with a capacity of 140,000 liters, which can be also used as an ice rink.
