The Kondius AG determined for the Senate Department for Urban Development and Environment, the building construction costs (KG 300) for the renovation and construction of the School of Dramatic Arts Ernst Busch in Berlin. By using the database-based software Allbudget was it possible to create a cost estimate according to DIN 276 based on rough cost elements and a presentation of the 2nd level in the cost groups. An allocation of the cost groups to trades was also part of the cost estimation. It was determined in consideration of the real quantities that were calculated in detail about the cubic values of the individual rooms.

The cost estimation was divided into separate components:

• Existing construction
• New construction

A total of approximately 15 million Euro new construction cost have been determined for a building with over 200 rooms and 13.000 construction elements.
