The Zeiss Planetarium in Berlin was opened in 1987 as one of the largest and most modern star theater ever. It is located on the edge of the residential Ernst-Thälmann-Park, built in the 1980s, in the district of Prenzlauer Berg. Same as the Archenhold Observatory it is part of the Foundation Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin.
